The scene count is a u8 before version 37 (LateAlpha) and a u32 from 37
on (LuzFile::ReadLUZFile, 1.10.64: revision < 37 reads a byte). The
reader took the u8 for 37 too, so version 37 files misread from their
scenes on and failed.
No live zone is version 37; four older LUP zones
now read in full.
Every other zone file on disk reads the same as before.
Check in game: nothing to check on live worlds (none is version 37).

Between the scenes and the terrain file's name a zone file has its
boundary lines: a u8 count, then per line a normal, a point, the
destination zone, the destination scene ID and a spawn location. The
reader took that spot for a u8-length "zone path" string, which is the
same bytes only when there are no boundaries; a zone with boundaries
would have misread everything after it.
The destination is one u32 in the client (LuzReader::ReadZoneBoundaryLines,
0x01018490 in 1.10.64: map ID in bits 0-15, instance ID in bits 16-31,
clone 0), read here as two u16s into an LWOZONEID with clone 0. The
boundaries are kept on ZoneFile::zoneBoundaries.
No zone of the 1.10.64 client (or any other client on disk) has
boundary lines, so what is read from them is unchanged.
Check in game: every world loads and zone transfers (launch pads,
rockets, portals) work as before.

World packet 120 (UgcDownloadFailed: resType u32, blueprint ID, status
u32, character ID; lu_packets, 31 bytes after the 0x53 as the client
sends it) was logged as an unknown world packet. The client sends it
from LWOResMgr2Interface::FinishResourceRequest (0x0105e5c0) for every
blueprint file (player model, car or rocket build) whose request did not
end with HTTP 200, including files it did not download at all (status
0). Live: 1525 packets, 1520 with status 0 (all four file types, around
load and FetchModelMetadataRequest), 5 with 404. Live sent nothing back
and the sessions carried on.
The logout the client does on failed UGC downloads
(NET_DISCONNECT_FAILED_DOWNLOAD_UGC, MainThread_LogoutDueToConnectionFailures
0x0102b9c0) is its own decision after repeated connection failures to the
UGC HTTP server; there is no server message that prevents or triggers it.
So the server only records it: a log line for an HTTP failure (for
finding missing files on the UGC server), a debug line for status 0.
MessageType::World gains UGC_DOWNLOAD_FAILED = 120 (appended; the magic
enum range goes to 120).
Check in game: nothing changes for the player. With a property that has
models, load it: the world server log has no "Unknown world packet 120"
lines; if a model file is missing on the UGC server there is one "failed
to download blueprint" line naming it.

Re-checked against client 1.10.64: Zone::Run calls StreamScenesAroundPosition
with the ghost reference position, and with the controlled object's own
position only when the two differ (ghost reference override on). The client
loads the scene under the reference point and the global scene; with the
override on it also loads the scene under the player and its connected
scenes. The cell lookup (floor(v + 0.5), x cell * resolution + z cell), the
transition pairs and FixupInvalidTransitions match what ZoneScenes does.
Scene ghosting now adds the scenes around the player while the ghost
reference is overridden (cinematics), and the comments say the server keeps
each scene's neighbours too (a superset, so objects across a transition
exist before the player crosses it).
Check in game (with ghosting_scenes=1): walk across scene transitions in
Avant Gardens and Gnarled Forest; objects on both sides show up and nothing
pops in at the line. Play a cinematic that moves the camera away (e.g. a
mission cinematic) and objects around the player stay.

What someone may do on the dashboard is now their GM level's permissions plus the grants on their account, minus its
denies (PermissionGrants.h). A deny beats a grant; denies never apply to GM 9, and settings and permissions_manage stay
GM 9 only. The account's grants are read with every request (like its GM level), so a change applies at once, and
they are passed through every check: RouteUtils::Can, CanViewCharacter, the rank rules (self_* and manage_equal_rank),
routes guarded by a permission, the templates' `can`, the API documentation, API access, API key scopes (a key never
does more than its owner may now) and WebSocket subscriptions.
New permission grants_manage (GM 9 by default) and the API to manage grants: GET /api/grants/catalog, GET /api/grants,
POST /api/grants, POST /api/grants/:id/remove. Nobody grants or takes away what they don't hold themselves (a
permission, every permission of a group, a command they may use, every command up to their own GM level), and only on
accounts the rank rules let them manage (their own with self_moderation). Commands with a fixed level or a floor
above GM 1 (/execute) can't be granted. Every change goes in the audit log (grant_permission, deny_permission,
remove_grant). Also: the Showcase gate and the traffic subscription now check their permission by name.
Check: grant a GM 2 account accounts_ban (it can ban, and the Ban button shows); deny a GM 8 account accounts_view (the
accounts list is refused); give an expiry a minute ahead and see it stop; try to grant a permission your account
doesn't have (refused); dWebTests PermissionGrantsTests.

Why the glitter never moved: player models (LOT 14) are wrapped in
weeblewobble.kfm (RenderComponentWrapper 9845), so the client makes them
an LWOSkinnedRenderComponent, whose Run (0x00d6d3d0) updates the scene
graph (and so any NiTextureTransformController) only while animation is
enabled, and LWOModelBehaviorComponent::EnableAnimation (0x00be2740)
turns it off for modelType 2, which every placed property model is. The
root flags 0x102 added earlier are only read by the base render
component. Nothing in a placed model's .nif can move.
What does move: shader classes set globals in their own per-frame Run.
Distortion Directional (Ocean) (mapShaders 79, Run 0x010b90c0) slides
its texture layers by fixed shares of a tile a second, as the game's own
pond ripples (S79__pond_ripplesShape). Glitter bricks now get a sparkle
group, S79_GlitterSparkle_Model: their triangles lifted 0.005 off the
brick, vertex colors white tinted by the brick, UVs placed per brick,
alpha tested (ShaderCommon's alpha test phase, GREATEREQUAL 127), with a
stored texture of flat sparkles at alpha 230: one layer's sparkle alone
averages under the test, two meeting pass, so sparkles flash and go out
as the layers cross. The flecks stay (LEGO-AnimUV, now without the
controllers and flags that never ran). The icon and the dashboard's 3D
view leave the sparkles out.
New settings: shader_glitter_sparkle (79, 0 off), glitter_sparkle_size,
glitter_sparkle_amount, glitter_sparkle_tint, glitter_sparkle_brightness;
glitter_speed is now how fast sparkles flash (the sparkle tile). Only
glitter output changes; non-glitter models are byte-identical.
Check in game: reprocess a property with glitter models, then look at
them from a few angles and distances, on each graphics quality:
- sparkles flash on and off all over the glitter bricks, continuously
- no flickering fight between the sparkles and the brick surface
- transparent glitter bricks still see-through, flecks still visible
- nothing drawn where there is no glitter brick; icons unchanged
apart from the flecks

Drops the analysis views (objects, loot odds, missions, skills, behavior
trees, activities, zones), the name search and the 3D preview, with
their API routes and CDClientRules.h. What stays: the table list,
paging, sort, any-column search, column filters, and linked values that
open the target table filtered to that ID. Old links such as
/cdclient#/object/<LOT> (UGC page, world view) now open the Objects
table filtered to that LOT.
Check in the dashboard: CDClient Browser lists every table; open one,
sort by a column, add a filter, search, page; click a LOT or loot
matrix value; /cdclient#/object/1727 opens Objects id = 1727.

The 1.10.64 client's message table (GameMessage::<Name>::Initialize) names
792 DeletePropertyResponse, 793 CreateModelFromClient, 915
PropertyModerationAction and 916 PropertyModerationActionResponse.
Only the enum names change; the IDs stay pinned.

The page held one-off repairs from Nexus Dashboard (approve known pet
names, find/delete orphaned pet names, remove every buff, fix property
clone IDs, list mission rewards without a commendation price). Removed
the page, its sidebar entry, its /api/maintenance/* routes, the
`maintenance` permission and the two database calls only it used
(GetAllPetNames, FixPropertyCloneIds). The scheduled tasks (lift expired
bans, fill in pet owners, approve known pet names) and property model
import/removal stay.
Check: the Admin sidebar group has no Maintenance link; /maintenance is
a 404; the Tasks page still lists "Approve known pet names" and "Fill in
pet owners"; property import still works; the Permissions page no
longer lists "Data maintenance".

The client registers SetPropertyModerationStatus as 1594
(GameMessage::SetPropertyModerationStatus sets id 0x63a; no client
code uses 1593). The enum had the two names one slot off. Names only;
the IDs are unchanged and the pin tests still check both values.
In game: nothing changes; neither message is sent yet.

The game shader views looked up each shader's technique in the manifest's
"techniques". Property scenery manifests are cached by browsers for a day
(world ones for an hour), so after the update a browser drew the property
view from the manifest the older server had sent, which has no
techniques: every shader fell back to LEGO, whose decal texture alpha
laid the see-through tree, rock and water textures over white vertex
colors. Nimbus Isle came out with white trees, rocks and water, a yellow
build surface and a solid white build border.
- Manifest URLs carry the conversion format the views are written for
(?format=5, scenery-core.js SCENERY_FORMAT), so a kept manifest from
an older server is never used; SceneryCoreJs checks it matches
Scenery.cpp FORMAT_VERSION.
- A manifest without techniques (an older server's) is drawn with the
viewer's own lights and its textureAlpha table instead of every
shader guessed as LEGO.
- A material whose NiAlphaController animates its alpha is drawn at its
highest key. The AnimAlpha shaders now use the material alpha, and
effects resting at 0 in the file (the Venture Explorer's lightning)
had vanished. Conversion format 5.
Checked by rendering the world view of every zone with models and the
property view of every property template (headless, fixed cameras)
before and after, and the Nimbus Isle property with a manifest stripped
of its techniques, which reproduced the white look.

NifFile::TechniqueFor maps every mapShaders gameValue to the client's
technique family (fixed function, LEGO, Basic/AlphaAsAlpha, metal, clear
plastic, ocean distortion, flat surf, BrickWater, darkling, terrain mesh),
its eShaderLook bits, texture alpha and eTechniqueFlag bits (moving
texture, both sides, blend, alpha test, additive, no ambient, glow,
super emissive, grayscale, shiny glint, not drawn, ...), from res/shaders
and the verified technique setups. Values it lacks are the LEGO shader,
as the client falls back to it. TextureAlphaFor and ShaderLookFor read it.
The scenery manifests carry it as "techniques" (replacing textureAlpha
and shaderLooks), the flairs' manifest a Flair.fx technique, the
lighting its specular color. /api/scenery/env/:name serves the
environment cubes the client's shaders load themselves (default
reflection, polished and brushed metal, brushed noise). Conversion
format 4.

blendingOf, parseDdsCube; its test checks the flag and look bits against

With new binaries in place, master moves everything onto them while the
server keeps running (the dashboard's Live update, /liveupdate or SIGUSR2 to
master):
- database migrations of the new build first; a failure stops there
- UGC finishes the jobs it is running (queued rows stay pending), auth
restarts, chat hands its teams to master for the next chat server; master
starts the new processes and retries ones that don't come back
- once the new chat server is up (CHAT_SERVER_READY) every world connects at
once and sends its players again (LoginSessionNotify resync, no login logged)
- every world instance is replaced with an instance migration: public worlds
and private ones (same password) at once, properties after the old instance
saved and froze the property (MIGRATE_PREPARE: no building, claiming or
saving there any more), activity zones and character select once their
players left or after a wait; empty instances just stop, zones in
prestart_worlds get a new one first
- the dashboard restarts last and picks the status up again
Players land where they stood (position carried in CarriedPlayerState, also on
properties and Moon Base). Draining instances get no new players
(InstanceMigration::AcceptsNewPlayers) and show as "Moving players" in the
world list. The order lives in LiveUpdateMachine.h without master state and is
unit tested; master's glue is LiveUpdateCoordinator. Master itself is not
replaced. Message IDs are appended only.

Glitter colors (Materials.xml type glitter, glitter_colors 114,117) go into
S21_Glitter_Model and, transparent, S21_GlitterAlpha_Model (shader_glitter,
default 21, LEGO-AnimUV). Their shapes get box-projected UVs, an
NiTexturingProperty with a stored 128 px mipmapped fleck texture
(NiSourceTexture + NiPersistentSrcTextureRendererData, as the client's own
env_ag_ocean-maelstrom.nif) and two NiTextureTransformControllers looping
the base map's translation (glitter_size, glitter_density, glitter_speed).
The shader lays the texture over the vertex color by its alpha and outputs
the vertex alpha, so transparent glitter blends as S01_Alpha does.
Satin colors (satin_colors, LEGO's opal colors) stay in S01_Alpha but get
satin_opacity and are whitened by satin_whiten.
NifFile reads the base map's scroll speed (uvScroll) from the controllers;
the icon draws still flecks, the UGC 3D view and the LXFML viewers moving
ones. stats.json counts the glitter groups. With shader_glitter 0 and no
satin colors the files are the same bytes as before (tested). Also keeps
glow_emissive for the icon (it was reset by the icon settings).

Lxfml::NormalizePosition moved only the first bone of each part, and never
the rigid systems, so after a save a flexible part's other bones and every
Rigid kept their world positions while the rest of the model was moved to
its own origin. Now every Bone and every Rigid moves by the same amount, and
the box that places the model holds every bone. Split maps every bone of a
part too, so a rigid system holding only a later bone keeps its brick.
Also:
- a model with no readable bone is kept as it is at the origin instead of
getting a center 10000 up
- the math is done in doubles and numbers are written as the shortest text
that reads back as the same float (-0.4, not -0.400002; 12.1678, not
12.1677)
- bricks and rigid systems come out in the file's order, so the same model
always splits into the same bytes
- parts over 5 MB are normalized like any other (the input is capped at
10 MB), and the loop's safety limit no longer drops every later model
The pivot is still snapped to the 0.8 grid (the bricks don't move in the
world; the model's position stays on the grid), which can put it half a
stud from the middle.

NifFile::ShaderLookFor knows Polished Metal (98), Brushed Steel (99) and
LEGO-Emissive (53). The UGC mesh route sends each mesh's look (from its
multishader tag), and the UGC 3D view draws metal as reflective and glow
unlit. The zone views draw LEGO-Emissive objects going to their vertex
color by its alpha, as the shader does.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Shader 94 ("Basic") draws with vertex colors: its class's technique setup
names Technique_Basic_Lighting_VertColor, as 38 "Basic VC" does. The views
treated it as having none, so Nimbus Station's glom pines (tag S84) came
out as their grey texture, white. The other shader looks in use were
checked the same way (33, 35, 37, 70, 82, 84, 105 hold).
- Two layer shaders: NiTexturingProperty's dark texture and the UV set each
texture's flags name are read, and the views draw "Two Layers Blended" as
the dark texture under the base one by the vertex alpha (no longer as
opacity) and "Two Textures Added" as in TwoLayersAdded_PS. Avant Gardens'
snowy grass mounds were see-through hills. The client ships no technique
for the blended ones, so that blend follows the meshes' data.
- The near plane follows how far out the camera is (distance / 400, 0.5 to
20) instead of a fixed 0.5 over a far plane in the thousands, so ground
overlays, floor rings and road pieces stop fighting in far views.
- Conversion format 3 (new model data), so kept conversions are made again.

A "Scenes" choice in the world and property 3D views: every scene (as
before), the scenes the game keeps loaded around the camera or the followed
player (the scene under it from the terrain's scene map, the scenes its
transitions connect to, and the global scene, following as it moves), or
scenes picked from a list (world view). The lighting blends to the lighting
of the scene under the focus, as the client blends between scenes.
The scenery manifest now carries each object's scene, the zone's scenes with
their neighbours and lighting, and the scene map as runs (37 KB for Avant
Gardens); scenery-core.js finds the scene at a point exactly as ZoneScenes
does (checked against it on 2000 points of Avant Gardens).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The client keeps the scene under the player loaded, the scenes the zone
file's transitions connect to it, and the global scene
(Zone::StreamScenesAroundPosition 0x0108a3f0, TerrainManager::GetSceneAtPos
0x01069010, the connected scenes at 0x01066500; transitions naming a
missing scene dropped as Zone::FixupInvalidTransitions 0x010842e0 does).
- ZoneScenes (dCommon): the terrain's scene map lookup and the scene graph,
shared by the world server and the dashboard.
- Objects remember the scene they were placed in (spawners pass theirs on).
- ghosting_scenes=1 (world config, off by default): players get the objects
of their loaded scenes instead of the ones within the ghosting distances;
objects from no scene go by the scene under them. Zones without a scene
map keep distance ghosting.

Glom models (multishader) drew their trees, rocks, fences and water white.
Their conversions kept on disk from before meshes carried their multishader
tag were still served (the cache format version was never bumped), so every
part fell back to the LEGO shader, whose texture alpha lays the (mostly grey)
texture over the vertex colors that hold the actual colors. Browsers also
kept those models for a week.
- Bump the conversion format so old conversions are made again, and put it
in the manifests; the viewers add it to model and texture URLs.
- Light scenery as the client's shaders do: the scene's sun and ambient
light from its .lvl (read as level_read_lighting_info, 0x0102f8f0, and
EnvironmentManager::SetLightEnv, 0x01088aa0, do), per vertex, clamped,
instead of the view's own lights, environment map and tone mapping. The
zone takes the lighting most of its objects' scenes have.
- Programmable shaders read vertex colors and ignore NiMaterialProperty's
color and alpha; unlit and untextured shaders (by mapShaders gameValue)
leave out lighting or the texture. Fixed function stays as it was.

A placed model's client (1.10.64, UGCUSE3DSERVICES=7:0) always loads its
blueprint's NIF and HKX (its BlueprintComponent sets renderUserGen and
physicsUserGen itself) and its LXFML, asks the world for each file's
manifest first and waits for the answer with no timeout.
With ugc_manifest=1 and the new ugc_manifest_models=1 (default 0) the world:
- leaves the models whose mesh the UGC server made out of the LXFML it
sends when a property loads,
- answers their NIF with the UGC server's checksum, their LXFML with the
stored LXFML's (worked out once and kept) and their HKX as not known,
- sends a model that isn't made its LXFML (once for the three requests),
so the client builds it itself and no model is left waiting.
When the UGC server writes a model's mesh with a new checksum it sends
UGC_MODELS_MADE (a new master message, appended) to the master, which
passes it to every world; a world with that model placed sends its
players the new NIF checksum and NotifyClientUGCModelReady (game message
909, the blueprint id), so clients switch to the served mesh.

The news screen's slot tooltip names the slot's own property world
whatever property is sent for it, so a property of another world was
shown under the wrong name. Each slot now only shows a property of its
own world: a location stored by the older per-slot setting is kept in
the table but not used, full auto fills each slot with its own world's
top property instead of the top four across every world, and the
dashboard no longer offers a location or candidates from other worlds.

With UGCUSE3DSERVICES=7:0 (the client's default) the client asks its world for
a blueprint file's MD5 and size (REQUEST_UGC_MANIFEST_INFO, world 27) and then
downloads BrickModels/UserMade/<id % 1000>/<id>.<ext>.sd0. Layouts checked in
the 1.10.64 client: the request is a u64 blueprint id and a u8 resource type;
the answer (UGC_MANIFEST_RESPONSE, client 60) repeats them and adds a u8 valid,
the u32 size and the 16 byte MD5 of the inflated file, 37 bytes after the 0x53
exactly or the client drops it.
- dNet: WorldPackets::RequestUgcManifestInfo, ClientPackets::UgcManifestResponse
(eUgcResourceType), with byte tests against the client's layouts.
- Database: ugc_file_checksums (per model or module combination and file) and
ugc_modular_build.combination_id (migrations 89 / 72), GetUgcFileChecksum
looks a blueprint up as a model, else as a build through its combination.
- UGC server: every download is also written as .sd0 (Sd0::Compress); workers
hand the checksums back and the main thread stores them; old items get their
sd0 icon and checksum, and builds their combination id, once at start-up, a
few per tick; serves <dir>/BrickModels/UserMade/<bucket>/<id>.<ext>.sd0 under
client_path, /<folder>/UserBrickModels and the root (.hkx 404).
- World: UgcManifest answers on the main thread with one indexed query per
request; files not made yet are answered when they are (looked at again
every 5 seconds), and a model in its quiet period is made right away. No
worker threads, HTTP or file reads in the world.
Off by default (ugc_manifest=0): checked in game, the client then downloads
from http://127.0.0.1:80/lwoclient/UserBrickModels/ whatever its boot.cfg says
and logs the player out when it can't connect, so icons need the UGC server on
port 80 of each player's machine. docs/UgcServer.md has the details.

Sd0 gets a default constructor and Sd0::Compress(data), the raw sd0 bytes of
some data (what the client reads for UGC files it downloads without 3D
services). FromData compresses into a heap buffer big enough for a chunk that
grows when deflated (it used a 256 KiB stack buffer, so random data failed and
workers carried a large stack frame), and drops a half-written result.
Tests: chunks as the 1.10.64 client inflates them, incompressible data, empty.

The client asks for a model's metadata (name, owner, behaviors and its blueprint's
bricks and box) when it shows a brick built model item's tooltip, a model on a
property or an exhibit, and shows BBB_LOADING_BLUEPRINT until it gets it. The
world server never answered. It now does as live did: UG data for the model
(found among the player's items by subkey, else among placed models) and, for a
brick built model, the blueprint data from its ugc row and LXFML.

Brighter icons: a world light, a fill from the camera, a highlight, exposure
and contrast; with the defaults the icons' mean luminance matches the game's
own model icons (118 against 120 on a scratch set). Every icon parameter is
listed once (UgcIconParams: key, setting, range, default); the settings,
the dashboard's settings entries and the icon editor come from that list.
Presets per kind (player models, each car or rocket build type from
ModularBuildComponent) and overrides per model or module combination are in
ugc_icon_settings.
Saved models wait ugc_debounce_seconds (sharedconfig) after the owner's last
save before they're made (ugc.process_after); a client asking for one, the
owner leaving the world or a reset ends the wait.
Cars and rockets: one icon per combination of modules (sorted LOTs), shared
by every build of it; builds of a combination made already are marked made
right away, the client's per-blueprint downloads serve the shared files.
The dashboard can delete one item's files, purge by filter or all, preview
icons with any values on the UGC server (/admin routes, master password),
save presets and overrides, and draw a kind's icons again (icons only).
Migrations dlu/mysql/86 and dlu/sqlite/69. Not done yet: the dashboard
editor's lighting controls in the page script (routes are there), docs for
it, the empty-model state, /ugc?item= links, the shared fetch helper; the
storage size and property loading bugs are next.

TrafficStats keeps packets and bytes in and out per second and the busiest
packet and game message types. dServer counts at its send and receive calls
and adds RakNet's connection statistics (datagrams, resends, ping); the report
goes to master as SERVER_TRAFFIC (appended), which passes it to the dashboard.

The server hardcoded each item set's passives by set ID. They now come from data:
- On-kill bonuses (Paradox imagination, Sentinel armor repair, Bat Lord heal) are the
set's DarkInspiration skills in ItemSetSkills. The client turns those into a status
effect that casts the behavior's action when the wearer kills something of a faction
in faction_list; the server now runs the same behavior on the smashed enemy, so the
amounts, faction check and extra effects (e.g. rank 3 Sorcerer team imagination) follow
the data. A behavior repeated in a higher tier does not stack.
- Low imagination / low armor skills are what the live equipmenttriggers item scripts
do. Items link to those scripts through their ScriptComponent; the script vars (skill,
items required, set, cooldown) only exist in the scripts, so they are mirrored in a
small table keyed by script name. The Sentinel scripts have no cooldown (was 11s).
- Knockback immunity while quickbuilding comes from the Immunity behavior's
immune_quickbuild_interrupts (the 5 item Assembly rank 2/3 set skill) instead of a
set ID list; ImmunityBehavior now pops its immunities when an equip skill is uncast.
Removes eItemSetPassiveAbilityID and InventoryComponent::HasAnyPassive (unused now).

Counts, a paged list and failures of what the UGC server made of players'
models and modular builds, making one, the failed ones or everything again
(new ugc_manage permission), the UGC server's live status and icons from
ugc_public_url, and a 3D view of a model's LXFML. The UGC settings are in the
settings catalog.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
A new server (dUgcServer, started by master with enable_ugc_server=1) that
takes unprocessed ugc and ugc_modular_build rows from the database and makes
what the client downloads with UGCUSE3DSERVICES: an optimized NIF (hidden
faces removed, ambient occlusion baked into vertex colors) and a 128px DDS
icon for player models, rendered by a software rasterizer from the client's
LDD brick primitives, and icons for cars and rockets assembled from their
modules per ModularBuildComponent/ModuleComponent. It serves them, with the
models' LXFML, over HTTP in the client's UGCC<dc>/3DOPTIMIZED and
IMAGE128DDS layout with .gz and .checksum files, and keeps its folder under
a size cap.
Processing state lives in ugc.is_optimized plus new processed_at,
process_attempts and process_error columns (and the same on
ugc_modular_build). ServiceType::UGC is appended. NifFile moves to dCommon
and records named node transforms for the modules' attach points.

Nothing in the server writes or reads a packet by hand any more, so the
helpers for doing so go:
- CBITSTREAM, CMSGHEADER, CINSTREAM, CINSTREAM_SKIP_HEADER, SEND_PACKET,
SEND_PACKET_BROADCAST and HEADER_SIZE leave dCommonVars.h;
- the free BitStreamUtils::WriteHeader (LUBitStream::WriteHeader writes the
same bytes) and the unused PacketUtils::SavePacket are deleted.
The last raw reads are replaced: WorldServer builds its input stream
directly, the master packet logs read the header with
LUBitStream::ReadHeader instead of peeking at packet->data[1] and [3], and
MessageInspector reads a sent game message's header with the new
NetGameMsg::ReadPacketHeader (the counterpart of WritePacket) instead of
memcmp/memcpy. packet->data[0] is still compared with RakNet's own
connection IDs.
The frozen oracles keep using the macros verbatim through the test-only
tests/dGameTests/LegacyPacketMacros.h; the HeaderSkip tests, which only
tested CINSTREAM_SKIP_HEADER, are removed.
docs/PacketArchitecture.md: "where we are" now describes the final state
and what still touches raw bytes (RakNet IDs, replica headers, behavior bit
streams), and a new section collects the known wire discrepancies found
during the conversion, with client addresses.

eReplicaComponentType had the destroyable component's registry type (7) named
BUFF, the real buff component (98) as BUFF_REAL, and a made-up DESTROYABLE =
1000 that DestroyableComponent was stored under. Now DESTROYABLE = 7 and
BUFF = 98, as in ComponentsRegistry and the client.
Undone with it:
- Destructible stats came from whichever of the "buff" (7), quick build and
collectible registry ids was set, so the few objects without a type 7 entry
read a DestructibleComponent row with an unrelated id (the NJ dragon relics
16482-16485 via their collectible id, 125 quick build LOTs when placed with
is_smashable). The type 7 entry is used now; objects without one keep the
defaults (is_smashable objects: 1 health, smashable, factions -1 and 6;
collectibles: an empty destroyable). The client does the same
(LWODestroyableComponent::AllocateComponents / DoObjectComponentLoad).
- DestroyableComponent::Reinitialize, an unused copy of that pick order.
- WriteComponents' destroyableSerialized flags: the components are written from
a list in the client's order, and where the destroyable goes (its own place
after the buff, right before a quick build that has no registry entry for it,
or after the render component) is one function.
- The dashboard's registry 7 -> DESTROYABLE mapping; the destroyable type also
has a name there now (1000 was outside magic_enum's range).
Component types are not stored or sent as enum numbers anywhere besides the
CDClient's own values, which now match. migrations/cdserver/4 is unrelated (it
restores LOT 12916's registry rows that migration 0 overwrote) and stays.
Verified: dGameTests ReplicaComponentOrderTests serialize players, enemies,
smashables, quick builds and collectibles with and without a registry entry,
NPCs, pets, vehicles, models and an entity with every listed component with
the new code and a frozen copy of the old WriteComponents, and expect the same
bits for construction and serialization (a deliberately wrong destroyable place
fails them). Full ctest passes.

Volumes on the server touched far more than in the client:
- An enemy's body in the physics world was a sphere the size of its aggro
radius, so trigger and damage volumes caught enemies from far away
(Cavalry Hill enemies taking damage on spawn). It is now the enemy's
own radius and collision group from its physics component.
- Trigger volumes ignored their collision group and caught everything.
dpEntity now filters with the client's collision filter
(PeCollisionFilter, 1.10.64 0x00fb6940, group table from 0x00fcf9a0):
POI walls ignore enemies, threat clearing walls ignore players, and
so on. The aggro sensor keeps seeing only players.
- Rotated boxes were tested as the axis aligned box around them, which
for a turned wall covers a big square (the AG survival boundary).
Sphere and point tests now use the box's own axes.
Proximity monitors take an optional collision group like live's
SetProximityRadius; the AM shield generators use live's (10 finds
enemies, 1 finds players).

bind_ip in sharedconfig.ini picks the local IPv4 address every server's
RakNet sockets listen on (auth, chat, master, world, the dashboard's
connection to master), separate from external_ip, the address players
are sent. Empty or 0.0.0.0 keeps listening on all interfaces; localhost
means 127.0.0.1. Anything that isn't an IPv4 address stops the server
with an error, and each server logs what it bound to.

Property worlds now give their property reputation for the time other people spend on it, which
fills the property lists and the news screen's Today's Top Properties. Visitors are counted per
account; the owner's account, accounts linked to it and staff don't count. A visit earns nothing
for the first property_reputation_min_visit seconds (WorldConfig's propertyReputationDelay), then
each active minute (the visitor moved) earns reputationPerMinute times a multiplier, for a capped
number of minutes per visit. Repeat visitors earn less the more recent days they already gave
reputation, and each visitor and each property have a daily cap. Every parameter is a setting;
what each account gave each property per day is kept in property_reputation_visits. The rules are
pure functions with unit tests.

Off unless property_rent_enabled is on. Each property world's rent comes from its PropertyTemplate
row (minimumPrice every rentDuration x durationType; Block Yard is free), unless the new Property
Rent dashboard page sets another price or period (property_rent_manage). Rent is taken from the
owner's coins shortly after their character loads, with a mail receipt; unpaid rent is mailed and,
after property_rent_grace_days, makes the property private until it is paid, like live. The
property management component refuses public or best friends privacy while rent is overdue and a
property world that loads overdue makes itself private. Property game messages are unchanged.

Staff list contraband items on a new dashboard page (item search, reason, flag or flag and remove;
contraband_manage to edit, reports_view to see). World servers check every inventory when a
character loads and every item a player receives: each find is an economy flag of the new kind
Contraband, shown with the other flags and in the character's related data. Items marked for
removal are taken away, with a character snapshot kept first so they can be given back, an audit
entry and a mail or chat message telling the player why. Staff are skipped unless
contraband_ignore_staff is off. Worlds reload the list when it changes (RELOAD_CONTRABAND, added
at the end of ePlayerAction).

Opening a zone the first time built its terrain, scene objects and manifests
and ran ImageMagick on the web thread, stalling the dashboard for seconds.
- Workers: the shared pool plus Workers::Reply (answer at once when built,
else from a worker via Web::Defer).
- terrain_chunks/terrain_layers/scene/paths/scenery/flairs (world3d, property
and showcase routes) and terrain textures go through it; results are built
once in OnceCaches, the .raw is read once per zone for chunks, layers and
flairs, deflated bodies are cached thread-safely.
- ImageMagick conversions are deduplicated and written under a temporary name.
- Workers don't query the CDClient, read settings or call mongoose: ZoneTable,
render components, flairs, object names, LOT kinds and terrain texture names
are read at startup; client_location is read once; base64 is plain C++.
- Logger writes one line at a time (mutex; localtime's buffer is shared).

Every packet of the chat service is now an LUBitStream struct in dNet/ChatPackets.h
(docs/PacketArchitecture.md, PR 13), and nothing in the chat server or the chat side of
the world server reads or writes a packet by hand any more.
- World <-> chat: LoginSessionNotify, UnexpectedDisconnect, GMLevelUpdate, GMMute,
Announcement (GM announce), CreateTeam, TeamUpdate (TEAM_GET_STATUS to worlds),
AchievementNotify, ShowAllRequest, FindPlayerRequest.
- Client -> world -> chat (friends, ignore list, teams, general and private chat):
GetFriendsList, AddFriendRequest, AddFriendResponse, RemoveFriend, GetIgnoreList,
AddIgnore, RemoveIgnore, GeneralChatMessage, PrivateChatMessage, TeamInvite,
TeamInviteResponse, TeamLeave, TeamKick, TeamSetLeader, TeamSetLoot, TeamGetStatus.
The 77 bytes the handlers skipped are named fields now (the sender block the client
fills in); the 4 unused bytes after the player ID are kept as `unknown`.
- What the client receives. Chat service (ChatPackets::Client): GeneralChatMessage
(replaces SendChatMessage; SendSystemMessage stays as a helper built on it),
PrivateChatMessage. Client service (ClientPackets, as structs go in the file of the
ServiceType in their header): SendCannedText (replaces SendMessageFail), GetFriendsListResponse, AddFriendRequest,
AddFriendResponse, RemoveFriendResponse, UpdateFriendNotify, WhoResponse,
ShowAllResponse, Get/Add/RemoveIgnoreResponse, TeamInvite, TeamInviteInitialResponse,
and the team game messages chat writes (TeamInviteConfirm, TeamGetStatusResponse,
TeamSetLeader, TeamAddPlayer, TeamRemovePlayer, TeamSetOffWorldFlag) as TeamGameMsg
structs, since chat doesn't link dGame's NetGameMsg.
- WORLD_ROUTE_PACKET is ChatPackets::WorldRoutePacket (its own file, dNet/WorldRoutePacket.h,
since it carries packets of other services): the target and the inner packet.
ChatPacketHandler::SendRouted replaces the per-function route headers and
SendRoutedMsg.
Dispatch: dNet/PacketDispatcher.h is a dispatch map from packet ID to (struct, handler
function); packets that fail to Deserialize are logged and dropped. The chat server's
switch and the world's HandlePacketChat switch are now maps. The handlers take the
structs; their logic is unchanged. World code sends to chat with ChatServerLink::Send
(dGame) instead of writing to Game::chatServer by hand. eChatChannel,
eChatMessageResponseCode and eAddIgnoreResponse moved to dCommon/dEnums so the structs
can use them.
Verified: tests/dGameTests/dNetTests/Legacy/ChatPacketsLegacy.h is a verbatim copy of
the old senders and readers; ChatPacketsTests (25 tests) sends a grid of inputs through
both and requires identical bits, bytes and destination, checks the old readers read
what the structs write, round trips every struct, checks truncated packets are refused,
and has hand written golden packets for general chat, canned text, GM mute and a routed
team game message. Breaking one field width (UpdateFriendNotify) and the TeamAddPlayer
zone flag made the tests fail. No wire bytes changed.

"client_location = ../client " or a value with a trailing space is a
common setup mistake that surfaces much later as an unrelated error (a
missing client folder, a failed database login). Keys and values are now
trimmed of spaces, tabs and line endings when the ini is read, which
also covers the \r of files saved with Windows line endings. Spaces
inside a value are kept, and lines with an empty key are ignored.
Verified with a new unit test that loads an ini with padded keys and
values.

Client-sent AMF (CONTROL_BEHAVIORS) was decoded without limits on the
associative part of arrays, on nesting depth, or on the total number of
values. Associative entries went into an unordered_map with the standard
unseeded string hash, so a client could pick colliding keys and make
insertion quadratic, and deeply nested arrays recursed until the stack
overflowed, crashing the world server.
- The associative map is now an ordered std::map (O(log n) whatever the
keys, deterministic serialization order).
- Each array allows at most 10,000 associative entries, the same as the
existing dense limit, which is now checked before anything is read.
- Arrays may nest at most 32 deep and one deserializer reads at most
100,000 values. Every limit throws, which the only caller already
catches and drops the message.
- Inserting a duplicate key keeps the last value and no longer returns a
reference to a value that was destroyed when the key already held null.
Verified with new unit tests for each limit (including a 100,000 deep
nesting that previously overflowed the stack) and the existing live
packet test, which still decodes.

The NexusDashboard-parity dashboard (dDashboardServer) and everything built on it on the experimental branch:
accounts, characters, properties and moderation tools, permissions shared with in-game slash commands, economy
reports, World 3D and property 3D views with client scenery, scheduled events (features, vanity changes, live
events, announcements, restarts), vanity files and events, the CDClient browser, the message inspector with saved
captures, chat filter tools, community challenges, live ops, the AI moderator helper, and the server-side changes
they need.

Converts the 12 racing / vehicle / modular assembly messages DLU sends
and the 8 it receives to NetGameMsgs in RacingMessages.{h,cpp}, adds
eRacingClientNotificationType for NotifyRacingClient's event type,
switches the callers (RacingControlComponent, CarBoostBehavior,
PossessorComponent, slash commands), registers the received messages
in GameMessageHandler's map and deletes the old functions. Handlers are
copied verbatim. Also moves the byte-equality test helpers into a
shared GameMessageTestUtils.h.
No wire change. Verified byte for byte against a frozen verbatim copy
of the old functions over an input grid, to one client and broadcast;
received messages compared with the old handlers' read sequences
(including all 16 optional-field combinations of
VehicleNotifyHitImaginationServer) and every truncated payload
rejected; hand computed golden bytes; round trips; a deliberate field
mutation made the tests fail. Layouts confirmed against the 1.10.64
client in Ghidra. Malformed received messages are
dropped (see the foundations commit).
