The mini player reported its frame inside the main window's scaled-down content, so the morph aimed short of where it ends up once the scale animates back. The scaled content also had a smaller bottom safe area (UIKit derives it from the transformed frame) that only came back on the next layout, lifting the mini player 2pt after the morph landed. Map the target out of the scale, account for the safe area it gets back, and re-lay the main window out as the morph starts.
