### Update check
The **About** page says what build is running: a release (`release v3.0.0`), or a local development or CI build with
its commit, branch and a mark for uncommitted changes. The dashboard asks GitHub's API about `update_check_repo`
(default `DarkflameUniverse/DarkflameServer`) for the latest release and, for development and CI builds, how many
commits the build's branch (or `main`, when the branch isn't there) has that the build doesn't. The page shows the newest
release with its release notes, how many commits behind the build is with a link to the comparison, when it last
checked and any error. The home page's Server Status card shows the build and an **Update available** badge. Master's
log gets a line whenever the result changes, and again when master restarts. Nothing is downloaded or installed.
Settings, Dashboard, Update check: `update_check_enabled` (default on), `update_check_repo`, and
`update_check_interval_hours` (default 6, 1 to 168). Requests aren't signed in and send `If-None-Match`, so unchanged
answers don't count against GitHub's limit of 60 an hour for an address. The first check runs 15 seconds after the
dashboard starts. When GitHub can't be reached or the rate limit is used up, the last answer stays with the error next
to it, and a used-up limit waits for its reset. **Check now** (`settings` permission, at most once a minute) checks at
once. The same data is at `GET /api/update_check`, and `POST /api/update_check/check` starts a check.
