Usuals is a meal-planning and grocery-list app. Here's what it collects, where it lives, and who can see it.

What Usuals stores

• The meals you add or edit, and your grocery lists
• What you've checked off, and when, so the app can learn your store's aisle order
• The locations of stores you've actually shopped at, so the app can open your list when you arrive
• Your plan history and what you made each week, so the app can avoid repeating meals too soon

Where it lives

All of it stays in your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. Usuals has no servers of its own and nobody who built this app can see your data. If you share your list with someone in your household, it's shared directly between your two devices through Apple's iCloud sharing, the same way Apple's own Reminders or Notes sharing works.

Location

Usuals uses your location only to detect when you've arrived at a store you've shopped at before, so it can open your grocery list automatically. That location data is never sent anywhere except stored in your own iCloud account, the same as everything else on this list.

Camera

If you scan a receipt, the photo is read on your device to pull out what you bought, and then it's gone. It's never saved or sent anywhere.

What Usuals doesn't do

• No analytics, no ad networks, no tracking
• Nothing is sold or shared with anyone
• No account to create, so there's no separate account to delete — deleting your data means deleting the app, or removing it from iCloud in your device's Settings under your name → iCloud → Manage Storage

Children

Usuals isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
