On the iPhone Duo exterior display the vertical status bar adds an 84pt trailing safe area inset, which left the channel banner short of the screen edge. The banner and its gradient are now widened by the outer container's horizontal insets on compact layouts and offset so each side bleeds by its own inset; the avatar and name stay centered on the content width. iPad/Mac keep using backgroundExtensionEffect.
