Reserve a dedicated LGMP queue for low-latency input reports and
endpoint status. Bump KVMFR for the new feature and define ordered
ownership messages with full-state mouse and keyboard payloads.
Use a 32-bit physical button mask so future HID buttons do not require
another wire format change.
Introduce LG_InputOps and route keyboard and mouse input through the
active video transport when it provides an input backend.
Keep SPICE as the fallback and force it while the SPICE display is
active. Add atomic shared/exclusive locking for safe backend changes.
Bump KVMFR to version 28 and attach generation, epoch, and deadline
identities to cadence deliveries and their timing records.
Accept phase corrections only for the exact completed publication. Keep
VM and client clocks independent by exchanging relative phase errors.
Make submission, completion, and work-estimate accounting best effort
so scheduler state cannot delay GPU submission or frame publication.
Copy imported IVSHMEM frames into renderer-owned textures before
acknowledging their LGMP messages. Hold each lease until its copy fence
signals, and protect selected snapshots until rendering completes.
Track independent delivery lanes, drain acknowledgements on the frame
thread, and recover stale queue subscriptions after host timeouts.
Expand ImGui window damage to include its border and round both logical
window bounds and framebuffer-scaled bounds outward.
This prevents a one-pixel strip of stale desktop content when an
overlay window is resized at fractional positions or display scales.
Use calibrated copy-queue timestamps to separate source and effect
waits from the actual framebuffer copy.
Exclude producer readiness waits from client import timing so the
same interval is not counted in both Copy and Import.
This module requires lgInitProcessTitle to be called on startup, which will
preserve argv and environ by duplicating them onto the heap, and allow the
the original memory of argv[...] and envp[...] to be reused for the new
process title.
Move LGMP queue tunables into LGMPConfig.h and keep compatibility
aliases in KVMFR.h. Promote color-transform, SDR white-level, and
damage-limit definitions to transport-neutral common types so non-LGMP
transports do not depend on the KVMFR wire format.
Publish BT.2020 chromaticities in the virtual monitor EDID so
Windows receives a valid HDR colour volume.
Extend cursor messages with their IddCx SDR white level and an
explicit visibility-valid flag. Consumers can then calibrate cursors
without treating colour-transform-only messages as cursor hides.
Honor the IddCx 3x4 XYZ matrix and post-transfer LUT in the IDD
conversion pipeline. Carry transform changes to the client so EGL applies
the same calibration to hardware cursors, and invalidate the full frame
whenever calibration changes.
Handle DEFAULT, NEW, and UNCHANGED IDDCX HDR10 metadata states and
publish valid mastering metadata through KVMFR. Preserve the metadata
across post-processing without reallocating resources for
metadata-only changes.
Track PBO fences per upload slot and wait only when a slot is reused,
allowing rendering to proceed without a CPU stall. Use GPU-side waits
for cross-context DMABUF synchronization.
Also propagate KVMFR write-completion failures so incomplete
shared-memory frames are never submitted, while retaining incremental
damage-copy waits to avoid added latency.
If an overlay is closed with overlayMsg_close, the message can be freed
while it is still being used by msg_render, resulting in a segfault. Lock
the message list for the duration of msg_render to fix this.
Compiled in resources often will not contain a null terminator, as such
we must not use functions that rely on it. This implements a memsearch
function that performs like strstr on a buffer instead of a null
terminated string.
